KNIGHT is a London based, soulful, lyric driven, melodic three piece. Combining meaningful lyricism with contemporary grooves, KNIGHT was born out of the desire to express a love of powerful, story-telling songwriting with hip hop style grooves, melodies and harmonies. Influences include; Sting, David Gilmore, Bon Iver, A Tribe Called Quest and Frank Ocean.
Fake Party are a brand new trio project with a sensitivity to both the underground/UK jazz sound as well as flecks of pop. As fresh faces to the vibrant London Jazz Scene their style is somewhere between Patrice Rushen, Vels Trio, Vulfpeck, Khruangbin, Homeshake, Robert Glasper and Bobby Caldwell.. all with an honest English flavour. The bassist, Will, also plays the clarinet and viola, which is pretty cool.
