Fake Party are a brand new trio project with a sensitivity to both the underground/UK jazz sound as well as flecks of pop. As fresh faces to the vibrant London Jazz Scene their style is somewhere between Patrice Rushen, Vels Trio, Vulfpeck, Khruangbin, Homeshake, Robert Glasper and Bobby Caldwell.. all with an honest English flavour. The bassist, Will, also plays the clarinet and viola, which is pretty cool.
